PURSUIT is designed to support advances in aircraft helmet-mounted display systems. Lighter and more comfortable than its predecessor, PURSUIT features design and technical improvements to improve safety and accommodate the intense physical demands placed on aircrew. Our newest helmet system is in full compliance with existing USN and USAF requirements, including stability, equipment compatibility, and mass properties. This mission-ready, adaptable helmet reduces maintainer touch-time and eliminates the need for aircrew to have multiple helmets due to its configurable design that meets the demands of today’s missions and adapts to future operational requirements. Gentex is uniquely qualified with experienced people, mature processes, and required tooling for the manufacture of the PURSUIT helmet at full rate production quantities for all customers.

Designed as a versatile platform, the HGU-55/P helmet is available in two configurations to suit a full range of High-G mission needs. The lightweight standard version is constructed of a Graphite/Aramid shell which reduces head-borne weight while maintaining strength. For high-performance maneuvers up to +9 Gs and to help prevent G-induced loss of consciousness (GLOC), the Gentex Lightweight HGU-55/P COMBAT EDGE is the standard for all U.S. Air Force F-15 and F-16 aircrew. This technologically advanced system provides pilots with a decisive edge in combat by reducing fatigue, so they may perform more high-G missions per day without compromising performance.

The Gentex HGU-68/P Fixed Wing Aircrew Helmet System was designed to meet the rigorous requirements of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps in today’s high-G environments. Equipped with a single visor system qualified at 600 KEAS (Knots Equivalent Air Speed) in accordance with MIL-H-85047A; the Gentex HGU-68/P offers customized comfort, stability and protection for aircrew personnel. The complete system is equipped for communications with a CX-4708A/AIC cord (modified with extended length pins), H-87B/U earphones, lightweight tapered ear cups, custom leather ear pads, ear phone holders, and ear cup spacer pads.

The Gentex Aircrew Combat System (ACS) was designed for the Eurofighter Aircraft (EFA) to protect pilots in the agile airframe during aircrew combat maneuvers in high-G environments. The exceptionally low-profile design offers superior air combat functionality when combined with the Gentex EFA /ACS oxygen mask and inflatable bladder system, which provides Pressure Breathing for G (PBG) capability for extended high performance aircraft maneuvers, while reducing the probability of G-induced Loss of Consciousness (GLOC). True system-level integration of dual locking visors, mask bayonet receivers, and oxygen supply hoses make the ACS one of the most stable, high performance, head protection systems on the market today.
